I made a Powerpoint to tell the story of The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein. The story has a powerful message about friendship and being selfless, as well as being kind to others. I have also uploaded a simple worksheet that my class used as a story map, recreating the story in a comic strip style.

Simple bunting for each child to fill out with their name, age and a drawing of themselves. To be hung up in the classroom during the first week back!
